Frame and Spring Construction
Under conditions of normal usage, the frame and spring construction of any FunkySofa custom upholstery product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the sofa.
Fabrics
As fabrics vary greatly in composition and durability and as most mills do not guarantee their fabrics, FunkySofa does not warranty fabrics for wear durability, crocking, fading, seam slippage or any other reason.
Seat Cushion and Back Pillows
FunkySofa warranties all seat cushions and back pillows to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser. Softening of poly urethane foam is normal and expected and should not be considered a defect in workmanship or materials.
Mattress and Sleeper Mechanism
FunkySofa mattresses and sleeper mechanisms are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original customer.
Miscellaneous
FunkySofa offers a one year warranty on any other problem deemed to be a manufacturer�s defect in materials or workmanship. FunkySofa reserves the right to determine if a problem is in fact a manufacturer�s defect.
Repair Claims Process
While FunkySofa strives to make you the most enjoyable sofa, problems may arise. No worries! We have a dedicated customer service department that is ready to assist you with your situation. If a problem does occur, contact us as soon as possible. Please have your order information ready (i.e. invoice number and name on order). In most situations, we will be able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone.
If this is not the case, FunkySofa will issue a repair claim form to be submitted by the customer to detail the problem. A description of the problem along with detailed pictures will be required. Once a repair claim is on file, FunkySofa at its option will repair or replace any product found by FunkySofa to contain such a defect in workmanship or materials at no charge to the original purchaser exclusive of any shipping or delivery costs incurred to affect the repair or replacement.
During the warranty period, the customer is solely responsible for all transportation costs associated with replacement/repair of merchandise beyond a 25 mile radius from our location. This warranty is rendered inapplicable if the product in question is subjected to misuse, alteration, fire, improper cleaning, negligence or accidents.
