Funky Sofa began manufacturing and selling its original line of made-to-order sofas online from a small factory in Orange County, CA in 1999. Since then, our company has grown into a 20,000 square foot factory and distribution center in Southern California and deliver our sofas both locally and nationwide. Key to our success has been the fact that as the manufacturer and distributor of our own product we have been able to cut out the traditional retail middleman and offer our customers quality furniture at greatly reduced prices. Other advantages of being the manufacturer is that we can offer customers an almost unlimited ability to customize our designs as well as additional discounts on larger commercial orders.

 

Funky Sofa takes pride in employing only the finest crafts people in the upholstered furniture trade. Our state-of-the-art Southern California factory utilizes the best of old world craftsmanship with computer assisted design efficiency. As soon as your order is placed it is scheduled for production. Our staff of experienced frame carpenters,  seamstresses, and upholsterers works together to complete your furniture order within 3 to 5 weeks.

Upon completion each piece is given a final inspection for workmanship by dedicated quality control personnel. Upon passing final inspection, the furniture is then packaged and boxed in environment friendly recycled fiberboard foam-padded containers. At last, the furniture is ready to ship to your home or office via our convenient nationwide delivery.

 

A lot goes into the making of Funky Sofa made-to-order furniture. And it all starts with an attention to details. We hand select our unique line of micro fiber and woven fabrics from the best mills across the United States and abroad. Our foam and padding is made of high resiliency environmentally friendly CFC free materials. All of our frames are constructed of high quality, kiln-dried wood. Our frame construction exceeds industry standards.  Our  suspension systems supports each seat, evenly distributing weight, increasing comfort, and increasing durability. Our "No Sag" sinuous springs and Matrix webbing meets the strictest specifications for contract and commercial furniture applications.  As a result FunkySofa frames are sturdy and guaranteed for life.
